separate leaderboards for normal and hardcore modes
improved weapon switcher (tap ship then tap weapon spot)
extra score for killing all aliens before they settle in formation

progressive (increasing) pricing of weapon upgrades
best hiscore is saved until it’s submitted to the online leaderboard
player and enemies move and shoot faster in the hardcore mode
