HOW TO INSTALL APPS
Method 1:
Install apk file by APKInstaller: (From PC)
APKInstaller: v1.1 BETA
NEW: You can now batch install apks. Go to your start menu -> APKInstaller after installation.
BEFORE YOU CAN INSTALL APPS:
You must enable ADB debugging on your android device, and allow non-market apps.
Settings -> Applications -> Check "Unknown Sources"
AND
Settings -> Applications -> Development -> Check "USB Debugging"
I have included the windows USB drivers for android as well, you must point the "found new hardware wizard" to the "usb_drivers" folder to install the correct drivers.
THIS APPLICATION HAS ONLY BEEN TESTED UNDER WINDOWS XP, but has been reported to work on Vista and Win 7.
Method 2:
Install apk file by Astro File Manager: (From SD card)
1. Open Market on your phone;
2. Search "astro file manager", and install it for free;(you need internet connecton)
3. You must enable ADB debugging on your android device, and allow non-market apps.
Settings -> Applications -> Check "Unknown Sources"
AND
Settings -> Applications -> Development -> Check "USB Debugging"
4. Connect you phone to your PC, and install the windows USB drivers for android, you must point the "found new hardware wizard" to the "usb_drivers" folder to install the correct drivers;
5. Copy .apk files to your SD card;
6. Open“Astro File Manager”on your phone, find the .apk files you want to install, and click it!
